Introducing the new Aerox droop gauge set for 1-10th Touring cars. A new universal way to take the confusion out of measuring droop across different chassis manufacturers. Droop is a measurement used to define the point at which the tyre leaves contact with the ground. It can be a very powerful tool

As often re-asked lately, here some pictures of the process I use to measure and set uptravel stops.

- Use SS3x4 or SS3x5 grub screws (depends on your actual car setup, choose desirable lenght), and insert them from the topside into the noses of P12X. Turn them down to set the uptravel stops. Top nose of P12X need to be intact/not cut off to run with uptravel stops.

- I use the Aerox TC Droop Gauge & Disks for this measurement.
Screw on the Disks on your axle, put your car FLAT on your setup board without tires. Do NOT use 10mm blocks underneath the car.
Press with your thumb on AM19 and use your index finger to pull up the suspension. Here you have 2 options:

Slide the Gauge under the disk and see the value in millimeter.
Set the same value left and right. If you read here for example 22.00mm it means you have 32.00m uptravel from the lower ground to the middle of your wheel axle (22mm from the gauge + 10mm from the imaginary 10mm blocks)

Baseline from my latest tests and experience is:
32,00mm front
32,0mm rear
Most tires we use nowadays have a diameter of ~64mm.
So this means the chassis will just barely touch ground under full compression. Its a good starting point - from there you can fine tune for your liking.

At this point I would argue that the 32mm setting so far seems good in all track conditions for me!
Setting the front uptravel stop earlier showed good results in high grip conditions (which we barely have on Asphalt at all....). This needs more testing for example at events like TITC or indoor tracks.
On lower grip it removes a good amount of steering, which isn't what I'm looking for

Rear limitation comes mostly handy on uneven surfaces, as it prevents the chassis from touching the ground too much and unsettling the whole car.
